This obviously is my page. I decided to pursue my Masters in this particular field for two reasons. My primary reason is that I have never considered myself to be very good with computers and figured this degree would help me to learn how to best use computers in my classroom. Second, the University of Maryland has an excellent reputation for working with the military and wanted to take advantage of their expertise with helping soldiers earn degrees.

WEB 2.0 TOOLShttp://www.globalscholar.com/tutoring/grades-9-12/math/algebra/free-student-resources/browse.aspx Global scholar is an online tutoring service and although it does cost, there are some aspects of the website that are free and I would be much more likely to use them. There are sources and links to various sites that both teachers and students can use. I looked up some math resources, but there are other subjects that you can use. My other web2.0 tool is Google Earth. Although there is no link to Google Earth, it is a free download and I think would be great to use to help teach Geography or History, as using Google Earth can really help students put everything in their proper place.
